Be proud of your roots! Celebrate your culture. The Springdale Heritage Society wishes to share that heritage with you.

The building was constructed in the early 1950’s as a Provincial Court House. With its closing in 2005, the newly incorporated Springdale Heritage Society decided it would make a great centre to preserve and promote our local history.

The interior has been renovated to reflect the architecture of a building in the 1850’s with colonial mouldings, hardwood flooring and a 20 foot vaulted ceiling in the viewing gallery.

Come and take a pictorial journey through Springdale’s 150 year rich history with over 100 professionally framed black and white photographs. Our collection consist of industry (fishing, mink and fax farming, mining, logging, boat buildilng, etc), transportation, churches, organizations, Springdale Cottage Hospital, general stores, people, scenery, events and much more.
